Brick for Heat
For the second day in a row, there is no heat in my apartment. I’ve been sitting here, doing necessary things like paying bills and pseudo necessary (really? unnecessary) things like setting up a blog so I can blog about my upcoming journey to the other side of the world. So I’ve been sitting here catching an unbelievable chill. I just went into the kitchen, turned on the oven and hovered over it with a cup of tea. I also placed a brick in the oven to bring back here, and now my feet are resting on the warm brick. My grandmother taught me that one from her childhood in rural Austria.
